For a MSME to stay Sustainable looks expensive initially, but the real truth is they will soon attract wonderful business opportunities, moment they are on the path of Sustainability.
Key factor is the involvement of top management including a board representation where applicable. Mission Statements being assertively campaigned on Sustainability is a very important aspect to start with and it is a belief system. Then sure it follows a Process of breaking it into deployable executable points and made a part of KRA and sure the reviews follow. Depending on the vertical your organization is in, do start campaigning, taking the initiatives and maintain logs and constantly review and improve the initiatives. Do assertively state to your Supply chain that you have initiated and have started incorporating SDG's in all activities.
Each Participant should keep checking, does one's Organization Support and advocate the importance of being in line with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. You will see the magic of clients getting attracted and staying as a Sustainable Organization is a nice feel and a fundamental requirement.
Requesting Tier1, Tier 2 suppliers and MSME's to get closer towards SDG goals and integrating them to processes. You are the Change and world will see a greater positive impact ONLY if this is addressed in letter and spirit.
